Shipment transport insurance

Transport of goods brings various risks and can lead to unexpected issues. The impact can be reduced with an extended add-on and zero deductible. It is important to understand the difference between liability insurance and ALL RISK coverage.

The key difference is that liability insurance covers only damage a carrier could reasonably foresee, prevent, or limit. International transport is also limited by conventions, contracts, and conversion limits. It remains liability-based insurance, so a claim is paid when it is proven the carrier caused the loss or failed to prevent it.

ALL RISK coverage stands above these limitations. Compensation is paid up to 100% of the goods value, with options to insure freight and customs costs, and even up to 10% of estimated profit.
